About Us

 

The Hopewell Township Volunteer Fire Department covers an area of approx. 17 square miles and has a population of 14,000. We are an all volunteer department that serves our community as well as giving mutual aid to surrounding communities.

We currently have 29 active firefighters, 11 life members, 5 administrative, and 6 honorary members that serve out of two stations in the township. Hopewell Station #1 on Brodhead Rd and R Lee Ramsey Station #2 on Rt 151.

We currently have 7 pieces of Fire Apparatus in our fleet which consist of 2 pumpers and 1 squad at each of our stations and 1 reserve pumper that stands at the ready.

Our services are offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week which include, fire suppression, vehicle extrication, and any other rescue need within the township
